Crescent moon completes the starry ceiling mural

With the recent addition of the newest feature, the glowing Crescent Moon is a definite favorite in my starry murals! Check out a pic of my newest add-on option for my starscapes murals:

Due to photographic limitations, this section had to be super charged with the blacklight before photo can be taken at a closer up range, therefore you will see the colors to have an icy blue tinge to it. In reality, the starscapes mural appears more white when viewed from a further appropriate distance from the bed.

This mural was a part of a day/night theme. This picture below is a glance at the clouds I did in this tray ceiling:

The clouds I paint are not the typical ones you’d see in other murals. I realize that glow paints I use are well hidden in a majority of light color paints, preferably white, therefore a lot of blue sky in a cloud mural will actually show some specks of stars if someone looks hard for them. This is one of the reason why I make my murals cloudier as it hides virtually all of the presence of painted stars during the day time! Another reason is that it’s artistically more appealing as my cloud murals are more realistic than the cartoony ones you’d see in other murals. There is nothing wrong with cartoon like clouds as it is fitting for certain rooms, I just paint for realism, similar to the clouds I study often outside, the true inspiration!
