It’s been a long time coming….now it is finally here! I’ve been thinking of this idea for over a year and had been trying to work out the kinks in it. Due to the increasing interest in my murals across the country and with people asking me if I can paint the stars on a sheet of some sort, I’ve decided to go ahead and start offering Cosmic Star Posters and Star Paintings!

Star posters come in a variety of popular sizes and can be painted on two choices of mediums. There is the white Art Poster Paper which works quite well and dries within a day or two! I can paint those and ship them out usually within a week.

Then there’s the deluxe posters that are actually painted on a clear film. This is the choice that I’ve been tinkering with since January of this year. I have been testing out different types of material to find the best. The clear film is great because it IS completely clear except for where I have painted stars on.

The reason I am offering this medium is due to the thought that some folks may want the poster on their wall and quite frankly, who has a pure white wall these days? On any light color surface, the stars will blend in seamlessly and the clear material does not detract from your decor since your existing wall color will be shown through! Clear film is decor friendly! This is the same for ceilings. The only thing is that the film is shiny but most people do not find it unpleasant at all.

Star Paintings are a bit different as they are true masterpiece pieces on canvas! Plus they incorporate the daytime clouds that has been wildly popular! Day/Night combo is lovely to behold at anytime of the day or night…you get to see a scene throughout the entire day. There is only one size for the star paintings:

With both Star Posters and Star Paintings, you have the choice of either Original Backyard theme or the Cosmic Rooms’ Exclusive Deep Space Fantasy theme! Plus you can add on options to each painting such as Milky Way Galaxy or Constellation of your choice. And if you don’t have a blacklight, I am now selling the awesome 20w blacklights on this site!

Shipping is very reasonable and I ship out by USPS Priority Mail with tracking! The most you will ever pay for poster/paintings per order is $15.95 but most single posters can be shipped out for $8.95.

Posters can be tacked up with thumb tacks or push pins. Or they can be hung up by clips which are all included along with instructions and a certificate of authencity! Plus with each poster, you will get a Gift Certificate for half of your poster price to go towards a future full size mural hand painted by me! Paintings on canvas can be taken to your local shop to have it framed or you can tack that up on your ceiling.

Another idea would be to staple the canvas to the ceiling and then frame out the border with crown molding or other decorative finish. Imagine if you order 4 of the paintings, position and staple them up the ceiling, then frame the edges of the paintings with a wood trim to create a window like appearance! 4 posters would make a gorgeous 9ft x 9 ft mural!!!!!

For the most part, the posters and paintings are “paint to order” meaning when you place the order, I will paint it to your specs. …which takes about two weeks to arrive at your house. Paper posters take less time to dry so that should arrive sooner than film or canvas. No two posters will look exactly alike and all are stamped with the CosmicRooms.com logo for authencity in a UV ink that’s only visible under a blacklight! Signed, dated, and numbered by me too!
