The beginnings of a new stargazing window theme

I worked on a new theme tonight and it’s in the beginning stages of a new stargazing window theme. This one will be on a wall, not on the ceiling as it wouldn’t make as much sense to be looking up into the sky and seeing a cityscape. The name of the new theme will be Surreal Cityscape Stargazing Window. It’s a mix of a city skyline silhouette against a dramatic glowing cosmic night sky….complete a crescent moon!
This new theme in progress will go through many stages of practice and perfecting before it will be available as a new cosmic rooms theme. This is a very exciting addition for me as wall treatments would be very interesting to do. Here’s a small scale sample of what I was working on tonight:

Stargazing Kids Murals

Stargazing kids murals are becoming quite popular in many of the modern and upscale homes these days. Modern families are not only more decor savvy but they take a real interest in making their kids room decor something that caters to the whimsical nature of their child. As each generation grows up with families of their own, the idea of wanting their kids to have what they didn’t have growing up is ever more important.
Parents will go to great lengths in switching kids room themes through the different stages of a child’s development and tastes and can easily spend thousands of dollars on kids room decor, only to have it not last for more than a few years at a time. My stargazing kids murals will last and stand the test of time through decades of kids room themes!

Cosmic Rooms Blog is back after over 2 years of absence!

Let me first say that I don’t know how often I will update this blog but it is officially back and all linked up. Between switching webhost awhile back and having lost some of my backup files, I had a bunch of errors installing the backup of my previous blog which is what this is. I was updating it regularly before but since December of 2008, Cosmic Rooms Blog was gone.
Now I got it back online and sort of fixed the backup and upgraded the wordpress installation, changed out the theme, we’re back in business! Well, Cosmic Rooms has always been in business, over 7 years now, just this blog was gone for awhile.
I’m still painting ceiling murals of the night sky. It’s still every bit as rewarding as when I first started and customers continue to love it!
