| One of the most common things a person with insomnia will do is to toss and turn in bed and basically stare up at the ceiling. In most homes, the ceiling is just a dark space. In the meantime, your mind start to wander and think up all sorts of "worrying" type of thoughts. |
Imagine if you couldn't sleep and was able to look up at the most amazing and peaceful view of the stars from your bed. As if someone just removed your ceiling entirely so you can sleep under the stars. A wide open view of the starry night sky to lull you into a peaceful and relaxing slumber.
There's something so magical with gazing at the stars at night time. Just go outside when it's 2am and feel how still the night is, and quiet and calm the night sky appears when you look up at the vast array of stars. If you were laying down on the grass outside looking up at the stars, it would have a drowsy effect on you and soon you will fall asleep.
That's exactly what my starry ceiling murals do indoors.
