There are many elements that factor into the cost of your custom painted Stargazing mural, such as room dimensions, ceiling height and texture, the theme you choose, options you'd like to add, travel cost if applicable, and specials and discounts I run periodically.

The main factors are theme and room dimension as I do charge by the square foot. Charging by the square foot allows me the freedom of time it takes to create your masterpiece without having to rush. Whether it takes me 2 hours or 6 hours, you will be paying a flat fee for the art, not the amount of time I take to paint your ceiling as I do want to make sure it looks its absolute best!

Additional Cosmic Rooms Mural Costs

High Ceilings

Ceiling higher than 8' ...add $0.50 per higher foot (Customer is asked to provide Taller Ladders and/or Scaffolding at job site for ceilings higher than 10 feet)

Heavy Textured Ceilings

Medium to heavily Textured Ceilings will incur additional costs ...add $0.50 per square foot

Traveling out of State

I am located just south of Baltimore, Maryland. Included in the mural price is traveling up to 50 mile radius of Baltimore. I am willing to travel for painting outside of this distance at a standard rate of .50 cents per additional mile roundtrip.

Out of State Lodging

If you live more than 2 hours drive away, lodging cost will be added at a rate of $75 per day of the time I would need to be away painting your mural. I don't fly to locations to paint, I drive so all my equipment is with me. To date, the farthest I've traveled for a mural painting is the Niagara Falls/Buffalo, NY area. To save on travel costs, might I suggest finding another person in your area who would like a mural too and then you both can split the travel costs for me to come out to paint!

6/1/21: For the past 1.5 years, Covid pandemic has made it nearly impossible for myself and other small businesses to go out and provide the services we have chosen as our craft. Now that the state of Maryland has pretty much open back up, painting will slowly resume. If you have contacted me in the past year about a mural, I apologize for the delay in servicing you. The state of our country in the past year has left me in a rather uninspired mood.
